BOOKMARK NUMBER 2...

This is bookmark design number two.
A little bit of a different look to the first one.
The coloured borders aren't actually part of the design ~ I just added them so you could get an idea of how the black and white image will look put onto coloured card before being laminated.

AAARRRGGGHHH!! stupid delays!!!

There may not be too many pictures of dichroic glass pendants today or tomorrow :^(
I knew the glass supply was gettin' low, so (for a change) being super efficient I ordered more before I actually ran out. It has taken just over a week to get my glass from Sydney to here!! And for a change it was NOT Aust. post's fault. The glass was in stock ~ yay, it had gone up a bit in price ~ boo, but it should have made it in 2 days max!!!!! GGGGGRRRRRRR...not happy Jan.
So instead here are 2 more of my little cards. They're quite simple designs, but I think they have merit..
All going well, I could very well be the owner of a new laser printer this afternoon ~ fingers crossed ~ which means I will be printing my own little card sets up myself. To date the prices I have been quoted for doing the printing are RIDICULOUS!! I have lots of ideas on how to use these designs and it will pretty well depend on me doing it myself. So if anyone knows how I can squeeze at leat 3 more hours into a day ~ PLEASE SHARE!!!!

TEST POST...

This is just a test post to see if I can get a new album started on Picasa ~ apparently my pictures stop going across there when there are 500 in an album ~ either that or I've used up all my space...LOL
Either way I'll soon find out :^)
This is another one of my pen and ink drawings ~ eventually it will become my new little logo for all things "arty"....

YAY!!!! IT WORKED :^)

MORE ZENTANGLES....

Here are some more of my little zentangle style drawings.
This time done with sepia coloured indian ink on ACEO sized cards.
The flower one isn't a crummy picture ~ the card is actually a creamy colour.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ACEO'S......
ACEO stands for "Art Cards, Editions and Originals". These cards have one main rule - they are 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches - the size of a trading card.
The reason for this is, of course, that Art Cards are made to be traded! But while artists were happily trading cards, the general public was left out in the cold, having no Art Cards to trade. A group of artists realized this, and quickly made their cards available for sale at remarkably low prices so that everyone could join in the fun!

Cards are also sold either as originals or editions.

ZENTANGLE INITIAL KEY RINGS.....

I got hold of some key rings that you insert pictures or whatever into and thought they were perfect for these :^)
I've found the perfect thing to do of a night time when I can't cut glass 'coz the glare kills my eyes!!
These are both gifts ~ I hope who they are going to likes them.

P.S. a FYI ~ the pictures are 35mm x 45mm :^)

ZENTANGLE STAR...

Another one of my scribbles :^)
I found some really cool cards I bought a couple of eons ago ~ they're blank, corrugated cards with cut~outs.
Well this is one of them ~ can you guess what shape this cut~out was???? LOL...
My new pens have arrived ~ YAHOO!!!! Now all I need is some really nice quality paper or card to play with.
So if anyone has any great ideas or favourite sellers ~ I'd love to hear from you..

ZENTANGLE....

THIS has absolutely NOTHING to do with making glass or making jewellery ~ but "who cares?" LOL...this is my first go at doing a zentangle.
If you do a Google search you'll come up with heaps of links to other works.
The founding site is HERE.
All I can say is the name suits it perfectly. It may be a tangle of lines filled with repetitive patterns, but you really do go into an almost Zen state as you are drawing.
Try it!!! It's a very relaxing, and at the same time fun thing to do......It's meditation with a texta!!

p.s. this was just done with a NIKKO pen, so it's a bit rough around the edges!!!
I'm waiting on some "good" pens to arrive.
