Well now ~ a great mate of mine who goes by the name of DJ Designs has cracked it for a spot at this cool place! She does the most amazing chain maille jewellery!!
There are a lot of so-called "artists/artisans" out there, but their attention to detail doesn't even come close!!!
For the uninitiated chain maille is a style of woven chain that dates back just about forever!!! It has been used in making fine jewellery for centuries.
DJ coils and cuts every ring by hand and then painstakingly weaves the most magical chains you'll ever see. STUNNINGLY DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS!!!
Hopefully she will have an on-line presence up and running soon!
So if you're ever in Melbourne, drop in and check in.cube8r out ~ you won't be disappointed!!
