MANY HAPPY RETURNS - WOO HOO 50 of 'em!!!
We hope you had a good one!!
Hello and welcome to my blog. As you have probably guessed by now, I am no longer updating here. Seems I have run out of space and older posts will be removed if I add new ones. If you would like to see what I am doing now ~ silvermoonlyn on Facebook is where you will find me. If you see a piece you would like there is a possibility something similar can be remade. Any questions, I am only an email away. You can click on any picture to make it bigger. cheers ~ Lyn.

WEEK 39
It's really funny (peculiar) - this is our last week of the spring season and here we're into the third week of our winter and OMG - it's cold!! Sometimes it's very hard to get your head around the fact that half a world away others are sweltering in the heat. I wish!!!Anyway this week's piece is not really on theme - coz I'm madly trying to get competition pieces made and very simply I ran out of time.
This is a very simple crocheted necklace with 3 different sorts of freshwater pearls & clear quartz gem-chips. As you can see from the picture it sits just at the base of the throat and feels quite nice on. Not the best photo in the world - this is try number seven - but you get the general idea :^)

Week 38 - FRAME
This week's theme see's me playing with more PMC.This time I have made a frame with fine silver & bashed it into flattened submission. Then, with trusty syringe in hand (I got a bit carried away!) squiggled curly bits everywhere.
I torch-fired this, but think it would have worked a bit more evenly in a kiln - this piece is just over 1 1/2" x 1 1/4".
I wrapped my little hanging bits with 26 g. wire and then suspended this lamp-worked bead in the centre.
The great news for this week is my new kiln is just about ready - WOO HOO!!! and I will have it before my birthday...
Then the fun will really start!!!

Week 36
First of all, before I go any further - this is a really bad photo. No matter what I tried, I just couldn't get it to work. So for that I apologise.I was "caught up" last post, but now I seem to have fallen behind once more. I had the best fun last week - doing a PMC workshop and got severely sidetracked...lol. If you want to see what I did - the pieces are in my picture trail album - scroll down to the bottom.
This set is an order for a little "new age" shop that I supply bits & bobs to.
A while ago I made a chakra pendant (sold it!) for the same shop. These pieces have been made so they can be worn together or separately - although all at once is probably a bit OTT!
Swarovski crystal & sterling silver once more...
